Respect | Resolution | Restoration
Where Compassion Meets Experience.
What Is Mediation? Mediation is a confidential, non-adversarial dispute resolution process in which a neutral third-party mediator assists parties in reaching mutually acceptable agreements outside of traditional courtroom litigation. In family court matters, mediation provides an opportunity for individuals to address issues such as child custody, visitation, support, equitable division of marital assets, and other domestic-related disputes in a structured and respectful environment. The mediation process encourages open communication, cooperative problem-solving, and practical resolution while allowing the parties — rather than the Court — to maintain greater control over the outcome of their case. Mediation is often a more efficient, cost-effective, and less emotionally taxing alternative to prolonged litigation, particularly in matters involving ongoing family relationships and the best interests of children.
